Rob Tutton spent 20 years working as an engineer for the US Navy, with the last five years devoted to rapid technology developement. After the hurricanes of 2017 and the grid infrastructure destroyed, Rob began designing solar-battery systems as part of Love City Community Network. He dove head first into solar-battery design, completing his courses to become a NABCEP certified solar-battery system designer, while continuing to install systems. Vital Solar Technologies began in 2020 to transform the way solar-battery systems are designed and installed on the island of St. John in the US Virgin Islands. Since then, we have designed and installed over 30 solar-battery systems and are proud of our reputation to never compromise our engineering standards.
